Green Onion Salad (Pachae Muchim) - Small Batch for 2 | 파채무침
pronounced: Pa-chae Muchim
What: Green onion salad that is often eaten with Korean BBQ or a heavy meat dish. Simple, yet delicious small batch recipe perfect for 1 or 2 people.
Taste: Green onion strings with flavorful profile of garlic, sesame, and Korean red pepper flakes.
How It’s Made: Just mix all the ingredients together! Super simple.
What to Serve it With: We have this with pork belly dinners or Korean BBQ. We recently had it with soy-braised pork. It was such a delicious duo.
Tip: We use BIG green onion stalks that are about 3 feet tall, and string the onions ourselves. Here is a video of my Mom cutting the green onion into strings. You can also buy already stringed green onion at Korean markets.
