Easy Baked Tortilla Chips
Healthier crispy & tasty baked tortilla chips. A healthier alternative to store-bought tortilla chips (fried), baked in either an air fryer or oven. Serve with some salsa, guacamole, or make some chilaquiles with these baked tortilla chips!
What: Baked Tortilla Chips— a healthier alternative to store-bought, fried tortilla chips.
Taste: Very close to fried tortilla chips, just less oily. Just as crunchy and delicious.
How It’s Made: Oil both sides of tortillas. Salt. Cut into 8 slices . Bake in air fryer or oven.
What to Serve it With: Whatever you normally eat tortilla chips with! Guac, salsa, and chilaquiles are my go-to.
Tips:
Use stale tortillas— it will come out crunchier.
Oil and salt the entire tortilla first before cutting it. Then stack it, and cut it into 8 slices.
Instead of buying both store-bought chips and tortillas, why not just buy tortillas (make whatever you need with them) and then take whatever leftover stale tortillas you have and transform them into chips? That’s what I do!

Notes:
Super easy alternative to store-bought chips, right? Whenever I make these, the entire batch is gone the next day, and this is coming from a family that loves fried chips.
I love eating these even without any dip or salsa, and I loveee making baked chilaquiles with these!
