Taste: Classic Korean seasonings infuse this salad with just the right amount of spice, acidity, and sweetness from the gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes), vinegar, and plum extract, respectively.
How It’s Made: Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl and top with your favorite salad toppings and choice of protein.
What to Serve it With: Eat it either as a meal or side dish. This makes one light salad serving.

- In a medium bowl, combine spring mix with 1 tsp gochugaru, 1 tsp garlic, 1 tsp fish sauce, 1 tsp Korean plum extract, 3/4 tsp vinegar, and 1 tsp sesame oil. Mix.
- Add red onion and your favorite salad toppings and gently mix again.
- Top with your favorite protein and serve immediately.
Notes
*Korean apple vinegar is not the same as apple cider vinegar. You can find this at Korean markets but white or rice vinegar makes a great substitute.
